About Us

A Message from our Founder

In 1988, a group of nurses found Competent Care Home Health to provide care for patients in their homes. Back in 1988, there were very few home care companies, and many patients were going unserved. Some of these clients were developmentally disabled and needed respite services for the parents. I have a daughter with special needs and understood the overwhelming challenges facing families. Over 35 years later, the commitment continued and expanded to provide care to all clients in need. We are proud to be a company owned and operated by registered nurses. Our dedicated teams have specialized in spinal cord injury, pediatrics, psychiatry, dementia, general medical care and physical and occupational therapy.
